Renee Hancock, PT, DPT

Hello! My name is Renee. I am Co-Owner of Shift Physical Therapy and Wellness and I am a Physical Therapist. Professionally, I attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from 2000-2007 to obtain my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. In 2007, I worked in long term care and skilled nursing facilities. Since 2009, I have worked in outpatient orthopedics. I am passionate about going above and beyond to help my patients meet the goals they have set for themselves.

I have expanded my practice of physical therapy to include a specialty area of women’s health, including pelvic floor dysfunctions such as pelvic pain or incontinence, for example. This specialty is underserved in physical therapy, and I am excited to be able to offer this specialized care in a community where women’s previously had to travel distances for this type of care.

In my personal life, I am married and have two children. Both of my children play ice hockey in the fall/winter season, so much of our time is dedicated to attending games and practices. Our family enjoys summertime activities outdoors such as swimming and even a little fishing, as well as occasional biking trips. In my spare time, I enjoy reading a good book, playing the piano, watching a movie with my husband, spending time with friends, and of course cheering for the MN Wild.

I am looking forward to getting to know the people and community of Cambridge. I look forward to helping others Make the SHIFT to improved health and wellness!
