The Perfect Spring Snack

With spring right around the corner here in Minnesota, we’re getting outside more, kids are on spring break, and it feels like we need to change things up. Snacks and what we eat included. So if you’re struggling to get your kids excited to eat healthily or if they’re just bored of the same old snack, here is one for you! This delicious snack is one of my kids’ favorite when they come in from playing in the dirt and running around! The recipe can be found on the Taste of Home website along with all the ingredients. That said, it is really quite simple and you probably have everything you need already! Simply pears, apples, grapes, etc. (really any fruit you like or your kids like is great!) and top it with some fresh yogurt. We love greek yogurt in our family for the extra protein - try lemon or other citrus flavors. If that isn’t your favorite, or maybe you don’t have it, plain vanilla yogurt is a great go-to option! We always keep some vanilla yogurt in the fridge as there are so many tasty ways to use it! We hope you enjoy this delicious and healthy snack. Don’t forget to get outside now that it is warming up, and soak in that wonderful sunshine!
